I want loud exhaust
I want to put new exhaust on my truck and i would like it to be loud. loud enough were i can hear it good in the cab. I want to have dual tailpipes and maybe true duals. But i dont have a whole ton of money to work with. What are my best options?

If you want loud and cheap, get rid of your cats and muffler and run straight pipes.
It will be loud, but it will sound like crap, in my opinion.

 and dont do straight pipes. if you want obnoxious loud get glass packs. if you want to spend some good money and still have a screaming loud exhaust pick up a corsa or borla. i have borla. love the way it sounds

i have a single exhaust exiting before the rear tire... no cat and a 40 series flowmaster and im the most hated person in my neighborhood. haha

oh youre def gonna want to run a muffler. no offense but not many things sound worse than a straight piped 5.7, only one i can think i have heard and thought sounded good was FSC member Camo99Z71

I had a few buddies with straight piped 5.7s and they sounded real good, but i have had them sound real bad, it depends on the truck really, and flowmasters arent really that loud, if you just want loud dont spend your money on something like that, if your goin with a muffler glasspacks arent bad at all, even though ppl may bad mouth em

As usual, the smaller the pipe, the more it will rap. The black Chevy I posted had 2.25" pipes and it raps alot. I imagine with 2.5" pipe the rap will be reduced some.
None of them sound "good" to me, just pointing out the less of all evils here.

i would get a video of my tbi 305 with dynamax ultra flow mufflers on it. but the screen on the back of the TB is clogged with trash when i ran it out of gas so i only have one injector firing right now
