Atten: 4.3 owners
after several conversations with powerdyne, i have been informed that thier 7 psi belt-driven S-10/S-15/Sonoma/Blazer/Jimmy supercharger will drop into a fullsize with little to no modifications to the kit!

P/N: K10525-101

http://www.proficientperformance.com...ode=K10525-101

i was going to do this, but with the recent purchase of a 5.3, it is no longer going to happen.

Don't judge by this price! i have seen the kit offered on other sites for around 2500

This will give you another 100 or so HP on the 4.3l
Right about what that stock 5.3l is

cheaper and less time consuming then a swap as well.

after talking with a powerdyne rep and reviewing the installation. This supercharger mounts in the sam location as the alternator. It has a bracket that mounts off the bottom of the supercharger for the relocation of the alternator. We're talking very little modification to drop it in. probably have to relocate the air filter...maybe cut some new tubing...but i can't see much more then that.

Interesting.. Is that the POS Belt Driven Powerdyne or have they abandoned that thing? I know they have a Gear driven blower as well.. It looks like a nice clean setup and the price seems to be really good compared to doing a full swap. Can the 4.3 Take the daily abuse though?

It's the belt driven. the problem with the belt driven is when the pulley is changed to the 11 PSI pulley. i have found very few complaints concerning the powerdyne with the stock 7 PSI pulley.

As far as taking the abuse....this is a charger made for the s-10 4.3L. Just like running any super charger set up, the life of the engine is directly related to how you treat it.

Demon - Im sorry to drag this up i know its an old post but i just checked out the powerdyne supercharger link you put up and i was just curious if it would fit my truck because the one you posted was for 96-00 s-10, etc. I am kinda interested in this if it would fit my truck. Superchargersonline has that kit for just under $2500 and if it would fit i would definitely look into getting it. If you have any info that would help a lot. Thanks

This kit will fit up to your truck according to Pwerdyne, even though it says its for a s-10

Have one of your kits been fit to a fullsize yet?
