my sts is finally installed
I installed a sts turbo in my 2001 2500hd 6.0L and all i can say is WOW!!!! I had 5 people in the truck we were next to a 5.0 Mustang i put it in four wheel built the boost up when the light turned green I blew him away... We did only go a block or two, he would prob catch up. I'm currently looking on e-bay for a big intercooler to put on next. My intake temps while driving have been about 140ish. I want to drop that down. After the intercooler an Alky injection system in soon to come. Check out some of the Vids www.youtube.com/user/slowmo934 or just search for 2500hd sts and the maroon truck is mine....

Re: my sts is finally installed
congrats! I did an e-bay intercooler and piping. I think I spent a total of 300 bucks for my front mount. Just remember to bead or flare the aluminum tubing. They will blow off!

Awesome man, how much did that run you? Did you do the install yourself, tuning etc? Ive been seriously considering one of these kits for my 4.8 lately.

Re: my sts is finally installed
I am running 5lbs of boost on 44lbs injectors. All other is stock. With the turbo it's like a new truck.

You could double the boost with those injectors. Crank it up!

Any of the 31x3 I think, you have to notch the frame to get them to fit though...

I see 10-30 deg above ambiant, but it has been a while, I also spray meth...

Re: my sts is finally installed
I ordered my intercooler, should be here tommorw. I cant wait to get it installed. Towing the boat around with no intercooler makes me a little nervous. Once its installed im goining to put a 7 lbs spring in to make up for the intercooler. looking foward to see how it does with the cooler air.
