Re: Supercharger or turbo?
I'll admit I am somewhat of a ProCharger guy...and the centrifugal will see improved mileage on road trips vs NA. That being said, I'd think the turbo would have the advantage in that it is using the energy of the spent gases to make the engine breathe a little better. Haven't done a side by side though.

Boost is very much like a drug...an expensive one. One good hit and you're hooked. Not only that, much like other drugs, you get used to it and gotta up the dosage.

I try to drive normally, really I do. However, as many will attest to, willpower is no match for horsepower.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Re: Supercharger or turbo?
from a placement point of view, a supercharger would be in a safer spot than a remote turbo. Especially in a 4wd truck that likely sees mud and deep puddles.

Re: Supercharger or turbo?
if it were a street truck i would say turbo for sure, off road SC is gonna give more low rpm power. either way you will never get used to it and drive like a grama saving gas, you will get used to your foot stuck on the floor and thinking of how to push that pedal further.
