My procharger project!!!
whats goin on everybody? Ive got an 06 silverado with 4.8L. Ive got complete Procharger kit and just bought 42lbs. high impedance F.A.S.T. fuel injectors. Is it necessary to change your fuel pump and/or regulator? If so, send me a thread! Im also lookin at makin a few more simple mods...headers, MSD ignition, new gear, etc... Any suggestions there?

Re: My procharger project!!!
You shouldn't need to change the fuel pump on a 4.8 truck.

Re: My procharger project!!!
definitely upgrade the regulator and the fuel pump. Just because others have used the stock unit doesn't mean you "should". When running boost, you need a pump that is boost-referenced, meaning it increases the flow of fuel when there is enough vacuum created in the system by the supercharger. Also upgrading the regulator is recommended. Give the guys at Aeromotive a call and tell them what you are using / upgrading, and see what they recommend.
