Options for a 93 yukon
SO what are my FI options for my 93 yukon. I just built a mild 383 9:5:1 compression stock heads forged bottom end, Mild cam DUR 244 int 364 extLift @ valve INT 265 EXT 294.
I have a twinscrew on my Jeep and love it but I see that Whipple no longer makes one for th TBI motors, What are my options. Dont want a vortect type or turbo. I like the old roots type blowers better downlow that the others. thanks |

Yup, an era has passed. Both the Whipple and Weiland TBI superchargers were discontinued. Might be able to find them still on E-bay. Only options now are the centrifugal superchargers or a custom-made turbo. Or an engine transplant where a ready-made kit is still available.

Re: Options for a 93 yukon
You can still set up a carb style roots blower to run with Tbi. You just need to beable to tune it?? Any carb blower will work with an adapter and the right brackets etc.
350-9.1 compression comp XE256 cam-RPM AIRgap manifold. Ceramic headers-msd ignition-ultimate tbi mods - self tuner.
