Re: whipple help
Did you replace the fuel pump? Set the FPR?

Re: whipple help
the FPR was set at 13 at idle when it came off, check your fuel pressure and make sure the lines are routed correctly. Try using some carb cleaner in the TB and see if it fires at all. Also make sure your vac lines are correct

Re: whipple help
that will cause a major vac leak.

Re: whipple help
PM sent I am still thinking its a vac leak. check your timing take the throttle cable off just to make sure your tb is closing all the way. if its not that. start it up and spray carb cleaner all around the instake and whipple manifolds if you get a change in idle speed then you have found it. also make sure you hooked up the IAC back up

Re: whipple help
Sounds like a leak for sure. Make sure the O-ring seal/gasket from the intake to compressor is sealed. You are supposed to overlap the O-ring material by an inch BTW.

Re: whipple help
Make sure that the bottom manifold gasket is good also, all three bolts tight ? On the whipple I have on my jeep where the two meet( where the o-ring is) I use Anaerobic Flange Sealant. Its red its sticky but it seals. I run a good bead down then place the Supercharger on, just make sure you dont move it around much before you get the bolts tight.
Let us know

I used a thick smear of white litheum grease over both mating surfaces.

Re: whipple help
that would work too, I like the anaerobic stuff just because i have found it seals well even with the heat generated. it stays pretty sticky in all conditions, I have had issues with Litheum getting pretty slimy and decompose with the heat.
Just my 2 cents. He bought my old kit and just want to lend a hand to get him up and running :)
