Setting Downshifts with Jet DST.
Can anyone explain how to set the downshifts using Jet DST or TunerCat software for a 97' 1500? I have the upshifts where I like them, but the downshifts will not do what I want. For example: If I set the 4>3 MPH to 100mph is it supposed to shift at 100mph and below or 100mph and above? I am assuming it is above, but it will not shift where I set it. I am changing all three part throttle shift tables and the WOT table to match, but no luck. Thanks.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I had the downshift points way too high.

Re: Setting Downshifts with Jet DST.
The software is awesome. I haven't made any changes to my truck in a while, because I'm happy with the settings. My truck kept getting the P300 (Random Multiple Missfire) at idle because of the camshaft. The computer sees that rough idle as a problem and throws the code. So I just set it to not test for the P300 and no more code. Passes emissions with no problem. I also went from 10MPG to 14MPG by changing my downshift speeds. After removing the throttle restrictor plate, the truck would be wanting to go with a 10 percent throttle increase. But, the trans wouldn't downshift until 50-60 percent throttle input. I can now be going at a steady speed and give it a 10 percent increase in throttle and it downshifts and goes, instead of bogging down like before.
