headers
hey guys, i'd like to do headers on my new 96 1500 2wd, 4.3 vortec 5spd truck i found a set that are per vortec off a 90 s10 will these work? or would i need to do huge modding, would be nice i can get them for cheap if that will work

so how exactly does a couple hundred in headers and 2 hours install transform into a full out motor swap as a resonable alternative?
i think the main difference is an EGR hookup on teh vortec headers where the older TBI will not have the EGR hookup. if you could bypass the EGR somehow or have the headers modded to accept EGR they should work otherwise. not sure on teh feasability on either of those options though.
2003 Z71 ext. cab short bed, 4X4. Cherry Bomb single chamber extreme series muffler, 3" tips. OBX stainless headers, ORY, Tune by Blackbear performance, 285/75-16 Maxxis Bighorns on 16x10 AR diamond backs.
