Just got tuner now i need a data logger?
I just bought the jet dst to turn off my rear o2s and adjust my speedo. What do all of you recommend for some data logging software. I used to have all the stuff to tune my camaro but that was obd1 so this a new learning curve but its cool. By the way it is for a 98 sierra.

Are you tuning for mods to the motor? or just improving general drivabiity? I use auto xray, it allows me to drive and start monitoring and I can then display it in graph form, showing TPS, rpm, mph. I use it also to display engine parameters.

A little tip with jet, open your file and goto reports and choose print all to file. this will allow to go line by line to compare with other "tunes" and it also helps to explain some of the parameters. I copy and paste sections into a new file and when I change my values I have it written down so I don't make a mistake.

If you come across the setting for shift speed ( time to complete the shift) let me know, I don't have another black box pcm to compare to.

I have headers to a single 3inch spintech a cold air and hopefully this winter a new motor so i am just getting used to it before that.

I think its this but have not verified it yet "Low Alt. Desired Shift Time (Sec) Vs. Shift Vs. Torque" "High Alt. Desired Shift Time (Sec) Vs. Shift Vs. Torque" but why altitude have an influence on shift? I can see map sensor, vacuum, and MAF be affected to altitude. I have most of the torque management items figured out, just a few things left that need figuring.

I've been playing with wOBD. Limited length of logs, and it doesn't pull everything. I'm trying to figure out how to change the log parameters so it'll pull up everything, but I have to figure out the hexadecimal stuff first.
