Re: $0D Tuning Files
They are there you just need to look in the right spot! Under the table/funtions settings it is under BPW parameters- Called open throttle ve vs map vs rpm and the Idle ve vs map vs rpm. These are the Ve tables! Hope this helps

This seems to be the biggest problem with this xdf, it's just so large that it's easy to overlook items. One option that will help for the commonly used items is to select "Level 1" at the top of the screen. This will reduce the number of items considerably.
Another thing to keep in mind is, in making this xdf I keep everything in order as it appears on the hack. So if, for example, you read about tuning L413C and the title doesn't match the title I've given L413C, you can search by chip address simply by clicking on any item and looking at the chip address at the bottom of the screen, then just move up or down the list checking to see what the address is until L413C or what ever your looking for is fount.
Also, TunerPro has a "Item Finder" tool, that will probably be faster that the above method.
Thanks for the compliments guys!

TunerCat is a great program too. Very easy to use. Changes to the tdf file can be made with a separate program that TunerCat sells but it's not as easy to do as TunerPro. Another option is to email TC, he will add items to the tdf for registered users at no cost.

Re: $0D Tuning Files
Yup, John is great at that. And if you have TC and have TPRT you can read things in TC with the TDF Editor and add them to TPRT too. Or the other way.... :)
I have TPRT, TC1, TC2 and love to play.....

93V8S10 did. Updated the existing TunerProRT xdf from the $0D hac. The hac has been available from Third Gen forums for awhile now (Thanks Dimented). This is the single most important update for '7427/$0D tuning to date as the average/advanced user now has complete control of the PCM without having to learn how to read the hac and make changes to the xdf file themselves. Kudos! All that is needed at this point is a tuning manual to prevent end user frustration with the tuning learning curve...

I know a guy with a Red truck that's working on one and if it's anything like his previous work, it's gonna be great !!

That's kinda what I meant in my previous post, Dimented was the writer of the one that 98's been modifying correct? And the one that Dimented wrote is different from the original, and probably different from Haulin's, that's why there are so many different versions that conflict and can be confusing to a newcomer trying to verify addresses. At least it was for me in the beggining. Hell,I remember PFK trying to get his to run boost and changing adresses and calc routines around, wich would make his version useless for my N/A application. Helps to know wich one is wich, and wich one is the right one for a specific application. Matter of fact it would probably help if each one was listed with configuration/ setup notations so the user could choose the appropriate one for whatever they're trying to accomplish.

Actually, I didn't modify any of the existing xdf's. Started that way at first, but wasn't happy with it. This xdf was created from scratch. I just compared to existing xdf files and tdf files only as needed, with the exception of the commonly used conversion factors (% TPS, deg C, etc.) which I just used as is.

Unfortunately as long as there are different authors there will be differences between the different xdf files. My xdf was created to be a general purpose xdf. It covers all of the original applications of the code. It doesn't cover any code modifications or hardware modifications, with the one exception of code modification to allow Desired AFR dataloging in the place of battery volts.

This is a good ideal, it would be to long and cumbersome to do this with the file name but I could wright a second "Read Me" explaining some of the applications that this xdf will work for. I will start a list of corrections and revisions, if I get at least five significant changes I will post a newer version.
EDIT: This xdf is for:
PCM's using $OD code.
Engines: N/A L4, V6, and V8
Transmissions: TH 350, TH400, 200R4, 700R4, 4L60, 4L60-E, all manuals
EDIT 2: Changed WBO2 dataloging to Desired AFR dataloging.

I am having problems opening the links to the moates site? It keeps asking for a username and password. Is there something I am doing wrong?
