$0D Tuning Files
The purpose of this thread is to provide a place where $0D tuners, both new and experienced, can easily find useful files for working with the $0D mask. Also, files that pertain to EFI in general, such as Injector Sizing, etc., should also be included, if they are useful when tuning a $0D system.
I'll post what I have ready for sharing now, with more to follow as time and life permit. FSC users, if you have a good $0D file and feel like sharing, post it up!
Please keep the thread on topic.
Thanks!

Re: $0D Tuning Files
Speaking of tuning files, has anyone ran into different XDF's displaying different information for the same BIN file address???
I've been trying to come up with why some of my info doesn't make sense, and comparisons between XDF's leave me with more questions than answers. I have also noticed the same differences in some of the hack explanations as well as conversion formulas.

Re: $0D Tuning Files
Cool, I am getting ready to do my first 95 TBI Suburban.
Any good tips on PROM erasers?
I am looking at a homebrew like this: http://www.romanblack.com/tube4w.htm
Was wondering if any cheap production versions out there.

Re: $0D Tuning Files
Just get the Burn1 from moates.net. Doesn't UV erasing take something like 20 minutes to do anyway? I don't see how it even works and there's no way I would wait 20 minutes for a chip to erase. It takes about 2 seconds for me and sometimes even that isn't fast enough.

Re: $0D Tuning Files
The PROM's have a window on the top, the UV light IIRC shines on a part of the die that returns the part to a reset state.
Yup, 20 min at least is good rule. If you get a 29 series part, they are flash parts and don't need UV light, but not sure if they make 29 series parts for what we need.

Re: $0D Tuning Files
Honestly, keep an eye out on eBay, I picked up a commercial medium capacity unit for $20. With all safeties and such. You can pick up a Willem PROM burner for cheap too, and it does a lot more than the Burn1. Costs a little more, but depending on what you wanna do, better deal. I think the Burn1 software should work too. I have both (Willem is on loan).
