Re: which chip for a 92 chevy
First off there's no "off the shelf" chip that can do that. The chip that would come closest to doing that would probably be the one you have now, the stock chip. The next best option would be a custom chip from a professional tuner. And the last option would be "DIY" tunning. This can give the best results, but takes a long time to learn and can be frustrating at times. I just recently finished tunning my truck, took me 11 mounts. I wouldn't dare say that it was perfect, but perfection isn't the point. It's the feeling of success after such a long and tiresome battle that's the best. If I had another engine to tune, knowing what I know now, it would probably only take two mounts.

Re: which chip for a 92 chevy
DIY tuning would probably be cheaper in the long run, as you always have the truck and can tweak it whenever you want to.

I agree. But with time and like you mentioned, more money, a professional tuner can dial in a tune for your engine. |

Re: which chip for a 92 chevy
I have a chip that was tuned for an auto trans and 350 i got from Brian at tbichips. I only ran it for a couple months. I would be willing to part with it for $70.
