gmctrucks,

There is a lot of information at that website that I don't really understand. I'm not saying whether it's a good idea or not to go with that setup.

I suggest asking Dave Darge at Powertrain Electronics, LLC
http://www.powertrain.net/services.htm
his opinion, then ask someone at Dynamic EFI his opinion regarding Powertrain Electronics.

You could also google for those companies, but I don't think there will be many results.

From what I understood this item you can have you older truck tuned like the newer trucks of today I say that's pretty good.

93V8S10,

I haven't tried that yet. A search of this WWW "forum" is not available at this level of this WWW "forum." I hate WWW "forums;" I prefer usenet. WWW "forums" seem to be popular now, though, so I am trying to downgrade.

I noticed that at a higher level (when thinking about "drilling down" to a particular post), a "Search" box was available. It is not available at this level of this WWW "forum." That is what you are suggesting to use to search this "forum," right?

gmctrucks,

Dunno what you mean by the above, but I am not the expert. Dave Darge is the expert. Ask him.

If you meant that a GM TBI engine can be built for power, and a computer chip can be burned to make the GM TBI engine run right, then I am living proof. Even if my GD engine breaks down again, it would not be because of the computer chip.

What I think this box can do is one can get there older truck tuned like the newer GM trucks of today which a ton of things can added and so on. Dave Darge might be an expert but im just here sharing what I found and it might help some of that have older trucks but then again it might not, I guess home work on it would help. Good luck! GMC Peace & Love is where it's at.

That is the EBL system and it's the best investment I have ever bought for tuning right next to the wide band. Trust me, if you are going to tune, you want that system.
'91 C1500 with a 350 Vortec engine, Compcams 08-501-8 roller camshaft, Thorley headers, 454 TBI, GMPP intake manifold, K&N air intake, EBL system, a custom chip and quickly balding rear tires

'99 K2500 crew cab, Whipple Charger, 9" lift, 35's with Weld wheels, traction bars, DVD system
