Re: post your 1/4 mile times
just got home, took 4 runs best was 16.039 @ 87.18MPH

1/8mile 10.438 @ 69.33MPH

oh and tires... 285/50/20.. doesnt help. took out my right headlight too see if it would help with getting more air in the CAI, but my time actually was worse by .1

had lots of fun though... I was the only full size gas pickup there and there were only 2 turbo diesels. the (guessing stock) crew cab silverado turbo diesel did worse then i did lol.
everyone else had mustangs or camaros it seemed... few kids brough their ricers, that turned out to run pretty fast.. high 12s or so. there was a guy that had a durango that was in the 12s as well..

2002 Yukon Xl 5.3 4.10 gears with Hypertech Max Energy and True Flow CAI. This is my camper hauler and my Wife's daily driver.

Ran 16.29 at 85 without the Max Energy on an 89 degree day

Ran 16.08 at 86 with the Max Energy on a 96 degree day.

Not too shabby for a grocery getter.

15.1 @ 90.??mph. 04 silverado ECSB with a 4.8 and 3.42s open diff. Mods are k&n intake, slp loudmouth exhaust, pacesetter lts with offroad y pipe, no cats, and a Wheatley dual tune. Runs were made at full street weight with stereo, tailgate, and spare. The only weight savings were 255/50/16s on the rear. Ran with the 20s on the front.
