TH-350 shift point
How do you adjust the shift point on a th-350? Can you adjust it
using a different vacuum modulator, or is there another easy way?
I just bought a 76 GMC,for cheap, and the only real problem is the trans likes to shift to early.

Re: TH-350 shift point
You have to adjust the downshift cable to get the maximum rpm shift points. For later part throttle shifts, turn the vacuum modulator screw clockwise 1 turn. If still not enough, try a 1/2 a turn at a time till you get the shift points you want. If the engine has good vacuum, make sure that the vacuum modulator has a single red stripe on it.
