Re: New Tranny on the way
I picked mine up by myself while it was in the crate.

It is definitely easier with two people though.

Re: New Tranny on the way
I just went under the truck to do some stuff and noticed that i have a stepped pan with a built plug already! So i guess i don't have to drill for a plug kit now.

^Thanks ILD

Nope. :)

Transmission swap in that thing was easier then expected, let me know if you have any questions, I just finished removing my old 4L60e and installing a built 4L65e in it's place a few weeks ago. I could give pointers if needed.

Re: New Tranny on the way
i use a longgggg extension with an impact to reach the top bellhousing bolts. you can take out your crossmember and let the tail of your tranny sag a little(make sure there are no fluids in it) and then its easier to reach the bellhousing bolts. makes things oh so better.

Oh.

Well I found the camera.

There's really not a whole lot to show now in the pictures I took since mine's all buttoned back up, but I'll try to explain the best I can. I'll PM you a writeup by Sat.
