700 r4 ????
I have a 1987 Chevy fullsize blazer with a 305 engine and 700r4 trans. Now the problem the other day I replaced pan gasket and filter due to it leaking . I notice somebody had removed all the wiring for the lockup convertor . I know I can drive it for short distances with out it and I'm going to get it fixed soon . My problem is when I slowing down it acts like it is seaching for the gear to be in . It also doesn't want to shift into 3rd unless I take my foot off the gas .
