90 454 SS Transmission Swap
I have a slightly motivated 1990 454 SS Truck....I have the stock Turbo 400 Transmission and a 4.11 gear in the back. I am going to give it to my dad and I think that he need to get a 4 speed at minimum in the truck so that it does not cost him a fortune to drive. I would like to know any suggestions on this or recommendations. Yes I know I need to swap the rear end out for starters. Any help would be great....

if you can get a pcm and wiring harness from a 91 they had the 4l80e in that year would be easy swap that way and the 4l80 is basically a 4 speed 400 so still strong
