Question 700r4 help
I was pulling my fifth wheel down the highway when all of a sudden the dust cover for the governor came off and I had atf oil all over anyone know why this would have happened I found the cap and put it back on and added atf and all seem well just don’t know why
1992 Chevy 80s 350 block and heads modded for tbi with a comp cam, tbi spacer, pod spacer, custom tune, under drive pulleys k and n air filter, small lift with 285/75/16 tires and custom rims, air bags, and more to come

probably a clogged vent (tube). check your vent to see if its clogged
O2 GMC RCSB 4.8L V8 AUTO 3.73's
rebuilt/beefed up 4L60E(at 43,000miles)

yeah unless you were towing to much weight, boiling the fluid.

no it was only at 160f i think it boils and burns at 340f

Add the cover retainer to it. I don't know of a 700r4 that does not have the mounting points drilled. Just get one from a TH350 and put it on.
