Re: The Teardown And Rebuild! Pics Inside!
I pulled my truck out of the shop and pressure washed and degreased the frame and firewall almost ready to paint it now. Before that I have a portable sandblaster i will use on the frame. Does anyone know of a really good chassis gloss black?

Re: The Teardown And Rebuild! Pics Inside!
If you try and use the stock location of the AC, yes you have to cut the frame. But here is a pic I found of a bracket Im trying to locate that moves it up high where ours are originally. If I cant find it ill make one(my family owns a machine shop:)And thanks for the links ill look into that. While I have it this far apart im replacing all the front end bushings with red Energy Suspension ones and shaving some stuff on the firewall.

Re: The Teardown And Rebuild! Pics Inside!
Just got my headers in over the weekend. They dont look to be bad quality at all. I just set them on my engine to take a couple pics and see how they fit.
lemme know what you guys think of them.

Re: The Teardown And Rebuild! Pics Inside!
Got some sandblasting done and painted my driveshaft to see what the paint will look like. Its no where near done with the blasting, it was just too cold to do much outside.

Re: The Teardown And Rebuild! Pics Inside!
Here is my new Energy motor mounts, sway bar end links and greasable bushings, and tie rod boots. Im also gonna get the a-arm bushings when i take them off to powdercoat them. Should i just do my suspension in all low gloss black or do parts in silver also? Lemme know what you guys think.

Re: The Teardown And Rebuild! Pics Inside!
I think Im gonna do the suspension parts silver and the frame gloss black like the driveshaft. I think all the red suspension bushings are gonna look nice with this also. Anyone with pics of this or similar?
