The engine and trans I bought for $1500 and only has 45K miles and is very clean. Then I have a transgo shift kit, LT4 hotcam,ACCEL wires for now which all together ran like @ $275.I bought the powdercoating kit and done that stuff myself.

Re: The Teardown And Rebuild! Pics Inside!

I got the cam used with only a couple thousand miles for $75 and am buying the other stuff like springs, 1.6 roller rockers, to make it like an LT4, then adding bigger TB, headers, underdrive pullies, and custom tuning the computer.Later I hope for a turbo set up on this engine :)
Here is a few more pics of my trans that I cleaned and painted and also my nasty frame which is getting sandblasted and painted also.

Here is the trans with the TransGo shift kit. It wasnt hard at all to put in just needed some patience!

Now it just needs a stall and it will be done!
