Re: Fullsize going under the knife...again
Wow' soon your gonna need a roofrack with dragblocks.
What type of ride and /or performance do you get from that tire? Hemis are great..just not the perfect shape for an anchor

Re: Fullsize going under the knife...again

Re: Fullsize going under the knife...again
no. that is why a bar is welded between the two. Its also has a gusset on it. I cant run just a standard link set up because of my big body drop, narrowed axle, stock tank. There is not enough room between the rims and frame for link bars.i couldnt run the link bars inside the frame because of my gas tank. I wanted to get enough lift to untuck my wheels so a bag on axle wouldnt work. i wanted my two tanks, compressors, valves etc under the bed so a cantilever system inside the frame in the back wouldnt work. this 3 link is very simple and works.

Re: Fullsize going under the knife...again
Truck is looking good. Like the ideas and how its progressing but whats up with the welds man? Seems like if youre going to take the time to paint the frame and such the welds would at least look better. IMO

Re: Fullsize going under the knife...again
offbrand welder was used for alot of the truck. it gets good penetration but it doesnt look pretty. recently i bought a miller 180autoset for him and it makes a big difference. here is my control arms he just made...same person welding, miller 180 instead of offbrand...
