anyways, i've just been overwhelmed with work and work, and well work so i really havnt gotten any time in on the truck and its been killin me... things are starting to slow down and once i get cought up on remote start installs i wil be back on the truck again. jsut got cought up on issues with the front steering and have them mostly worked out and cost me more time but as expected for what im trying to build. audio system im not sure , was talk of 4MTX 9500 15's in the blowthru... :)
and yeah nick.. Octoberfest was notsoberfest! lol great seeing you guys down there!

Ahh yes.. the old 9500's, I got to say I am a fan..
Of course working in a audio shop where we have been selling MTX for ALMOST 40 years, We have a single digit dealer #
I would deff say that is a bit NUTS on audio and I am a pro... but I am deff game to see it..
Lemmie know if when you get ready to get the gear... I can see what I kan do on a hook up for ya....
Sick build love the front end work and you are on the money with respect on all the labor / skill it takes to do one...Nothing that good comes that easy...

Re: Kruznlow.. Part II, the rebuild.
For some reason I thought of this the other day....then all of a sudden it was back at the top. One of my favorites, good to see you making some good headway on it again.

Re: Kruznlow.. Part II, the rebuild.
updates, bags mounted, motor set back in, swapped back to stock 6.0L truck oil pan and selling my new LS1 oil pan I bought.
I will have to swap to the HE-8's though to get the extra lift i want. Glad i made room for em! can even use the stock manifolds now but i do have to swap to an LS6 intake or preferably the Performance Products "Typhoon" intake manifold for height clearances.

Im pretty proud of that guy, was a bitch to design tho, its crazy how an 1/8" off in height can throw off your bumpsteer. Setting all this up has really schooled me on suspension theorys and what was very confusing reading b4 in research all kinda makes sense now..

Re: Kruznlow.. Part II, the rebuild.
well, just a quick thing but got the wheels mounted up and started looking a lil closer at the nose job in store... man, do i really want that challenge...!!!
and yeah. Alt is a lil high.. adjusting the trans mount a lil higher will level out the drivetrain from moving the motor mounts up but i need to do some more test fitting this weekend to make some decisions

Re: Kruznlow.. Part II, the rebuild.
You cant just toss the fenders on and NOT give us a TOTAL side view...
Looks like its getting close...

Re: Kruznlow.. Part II, the rebuild.
Throwin on the fenders is always a milestone.
I would think you would need to move the trans. mount "up" about the same amount as the motor,so as not to change the balance of the resting fluids.? Does that make sense? At least w/that custom 2 piece, you wont need to tunnel the floor clear down the center..

Re: Kruznlow.. Part II, the rebuild.
i'll snap a pic! throwing the fenders on is a small small step for where im at.. jsut means more decisions to be made!
as for the trans mount that was my thinking as well. Set it up level b4 and wanted to compensate for the change. anyways more pics to come after the weekend..
Someday i'll share my rendering i had done last winter.... It's F'n awesome and i'm not sharing it cause I dont want to see my paint scheme on someone elses truck b4 mine is done... sorry, but its gonna have to be a tease.. :)

Re: Kruznlow.. Part II, the rebuild.
ok pic for those asking...
anyways, if you look closely you see my new obstacle, see the alternator? yeah its a lil high!!! Not sure if i'm goin to have to switch accessory brackets or what yet. Motor is right where it has to be. This may decide what front end i am goin to be goin with. I do have all the parts for the '05 escalade clip with oem HID's and there is going to be a ton of fender fab work.. Time will show me here soon what direction i'll be taking or just goin back to the '00 denali front clip.
Main thing is researching options for the accessory engine brackets..

Re: Kruznlow.. Part II, the rebuild.
KWiK Performance is about the cheapest i've found for accessory brackets, they aren't as pretty as some but they work.

Re: Kruznlow.. Part II, the rebuild.
if you dont mind me asking, what is your new lower balljoint angle? Is it the same as the factory LCA, or did you lay it back a little bit?
