Sounds like a good plan. One question though, why are you going to lift it then run stock size tires?

the stock size tires are 235/75/15 (29" tall) 265/75/16 (32" tall) and much wider close to 10.5 inches it will sit just about like a stock z71

I would buy one. I really hate todays throw away and buy new thinking. Reminds me of the song by Merle Haggard, Are The Good Times Really Over.

Didn't pay attention to it being a 2 wheel drive truck. A stock Z71 doesn't sit 4" higher than a stock 2 wheel drive though I wouldn't think.

If you buy the entire power package, edelbrock provides you with a chip...

I was thinking of going the same route, but can't justify spending the money on the heads...
