Yea that's the kit I am going to buy for it if I decide to keep the a/c. I hardly ever use the a/c in it now and it won't be my daily driver after about another year and a half anyways.

Umm....not really. I'm currently putting the LT1 back together as a carbureted setup to put in a 300zx I'm probably going to buy next week for $500. I'm going to try and save up enough to do an LS1 swap in the truck sometime in the future. I still have all my notes and a lot of information on the LT1 swap if anyone has questions though.

I did the swap in my 4x4 Blazer. Fairly easy to do, but not cheap. There are better options for the money IMO.

I did a complete Autometer gauge swap in preparation for my swap, and I think 91blkstpsd did the same thing. I wanted something more accurate than the stock gauges.

Re: OBS rcsb TBI to LT1 swap
I reused my old gauges. The nice thing about the LT1 PCM can be tuned for your tire size and final drive ratio so you can have an accurate speedometer.

Re: OBS rcsb TBI to LT1 swap
The LT1 PCM is only reposible for the speedo and the tach. All other gauges use the stock truck senders. As far as wiring goes, the DRAC isn't used. The VSS gets wiring into the LT1 PCM. One wire comes out to get sent to the speedo and another wire comes from the computer and get sent to the tach. As far as tuning is concerned I just used the tables TunerCats provides.
