when static isn't enough..........
So rite now I have a 3/8 drop. And last weekend I went to a local show that my gf's high school auto class was putting on. mostly it was 4x4 and rock crawlers, but there were some nice low riders and a bagged 90's impala that was sick. But it got me thinking, if my truck was bagged, I was for sure gonna win best of show. They asked me to enter my truck but I turned them down, being that I woulda been the only lowered truck in the sport truck class and I dont wanta win like that. I planned on bagging my truck from the beginning, and I had everything to do so, but when I wrecked my truck last year, I was tight for cash, and had to get rid of everything. Now Im getting back into the truck scene, not that I wasn't allready, but now im getting seroius.

I plan on just a front/back setup. Im doing the front first. i'll post some pics of my truck as it is rite now. Ive been on here for awhile and have some common knowledge about this stuff. But feel free to chime in and tell me what products are good and not

Parts I plan on using:
FBI Front Bag Cups
3/8 valves (want it nice and mild, not so fast
3/8 air line
KP Compontens 4 link; KP Canti package
(Includes; notch, shocks, and bags)
Homemade Switch Box (tossing some ideas around)
2 AVS Gauges
Pressure switch
1 more compressor
1 more 5 Gal tank

I allready have somethings, (tank, compressor, switches, and air line and most of the fittings). Im sure im missing somethings, but thats just a general idea of what I want there above

Im gonna go ahead and be the first person to attempt to talk you out of front/back. Youll regret it. Spend the extra 100$ on 4 more valves and get f/b/s/s. Whats another 100$ when youre lookin at spending a few grand anyway. Running 8 valves will dramatically reduce your body roll and youll like the ride alot better. The few front/back setups ive driven in are terrible. Just a heads up.

And if you don't want side switches then just wire f/b.

Also an EDC, Engine Driven Compressor is really the cat's meow. I know you said you have one compressor already, but if you could sell it, and pickup a used EDC, or even buy one it is really worth it IMO.

Re: when static isn't enough..........
the york i looked at wasn't brand new, like the guy said and i didn't have 200 dollars for it. iv got my tank and compressor mounted i might doing the front this saturday. just waiting on my switchbox to get here. i traded my friend my train horns for valves so i can get the front done. ive heard for a front to back setup you need 4 valves up front tho. can anyone tell me why?

Re: when static isn't enough..........
for a front to back you dont need 4 on the front but like every one else i would recommend it 2 extra valves would be wayy better and valves are like 40 bux, just skip out on coffee and mc donalds for a couple weeks, imo its not even safe to drive with that much body roll that you will get with a fornt back seteup

Re: when static isn't enough..........
the body roll is not good but not bad besides I bet you wont be racing in that truck in tight turns. My setup is basic front to back 2 valve front 2 valves out back. If you have time to wait try looking on ebay sometimes they have good deals on there on smc valves I got 3 brand new for 34 bucks

Re: when static isn't enough..........
if you do end up with just a f/b setup. PLEASE put a swaybar in it. I test drove my buddys blazer that we bagged with t fillers on it and no swaybar. I swear you could gas it and roll that thing.
