Sixty8'
This has been ongoing for about 3 years now.I have a couple of shots of the thing when I picked it up but Im not able to scan the photos. Its a 68 c10 short box.It had been sitting for some time and was not road worthy.I had planned on fixing what was needed to get it driveable but got so far into it that I decided to go all the way.If youve ever torn one completely apart where everything is in little baggies, you can feel my pain.Did all the chassis myself except the actual blasting/p-coating,, I went by the bodyshop today to take some measurement for the drive line and thought I would share. The 1st 7 photos are of the chassis being stored in my garage,a year ago.The old folks will appreciate this one.

Awesome! I have a 68 in my shop, next on my list. That body style is one of my fav's. Good luck with your project.

Re: Sixty8'
Thanks all.
No clearance issues after I put a couple washers over the stud.I will find out how many issues I have once the suspension is useable. I hate seeing it so dusty but it will clean up nice one day. I will probably be broke living under a bridge before Its finished,,I'll be drivin a sweetass truck though!! ![]()

Re: Sixty8'
Thanks again everyone. You know,,its hard to put a value on something like a custom truck. To most people it would be a waste of time and money. As far as resale value goes, forget it.I guess I will never outgrow the passion I feel about a well built custom truck. One that has an attitude and smooth lines like no other. I was inspired by the following.

Re: Sixty8'
Actually,,mine wont look like the drawing.Im just building a driver w/heat n air.It will be green,,a yellow green metallic and will have the door handles and wipers, maybe the side mouldings,,maybe not.Would LOVE to build one like the swingset but that'll be years down the road.Im learning so much from the 2 that Im attempting to build now that I know I will need more room for sure before I take on something like that. Would be hott though,,scrapin on 22/24's
Heres another one.SoooSexy!! ![]() [IMG] [/IMG]

Re: Sixty8'
Very nice. I wish my brother had a computer so he could post pictures, he built a nice 69 shortbed stepside that he painted dodge viper blue. You can't go wrong with a 67-72, good luck.
