My thoughts exactly. I think it looks killer.

Re: Working on a few things...
Thanks guys! I have the leveling kit installed and cleaned her up a bit, I'll have some pic's up in a few. I am planning on doing the rockers, its just a matter of shelling out the $850 bucks... windows will be tinted next friday, all the places are booked around here. I'm not sure yet, but I think some procomp 7089's are in my future

Smoke those tails now.

Did you get a different grill and bumper or did they put the coating over the chrome? I went to line-x here in town and he said they couldn't do line-x over chrome because they couldn't get it to adhere.

No, the grill and bumper were chrome (all stock) and they line-x'd over everything. They didn't seem too worried about it, this is the newer "line-x xtra" with the dupont kevlar added. They also said the would do the plastic's of my atv for $400, imo nice product.

I droped off the bumpers and grille at the line-x place today, and I should have them back by friday morning. I decided to line-x the whole bumper fron/rear, plastic's and all. Hope they turn out good...

Damn! $30/wheel for powdercoating? Cheap as hell..I paid $85/wheel.

Truck looks sweet..thinking of getting my center bumper cap LineX'd so I don't have to worry about stone chips ever again.

If you like that look yeah and don't want white stone chips in your bumper which DRIVE ME CRAZY and looks like hell, but I would recommend having other LineX on the truck somewhere, i.e. bed, rails, side steps..etc or it may not flow as well. LineX just isn't that black in color, even with the Xtra, cause of the texture and how it reflects light I guess. I love the stuff..not everyone does though.

Re: Working on a few things...
Thanks fellas!

I'd like to do the tails myself, but I don't know chit about paint. I'll get a quote to see how much, I agree, it would look alot better with the tails tinted.

The wife want's the GMC logo to stay red, she thinks it looks better
The good part is that she won't be here this weekend when I paint it, she'll never know
