Arrow Working on a few things...
It's time for a little change, stock just isn't working...

I have began pulling the grille and front/rear bumpers to have painted, and pulling off the stock trim. I have started removing the SLT logo's and the sierra logo's. On the way is a "black chrome" speed grille and a Rough Country leveling kit. By the time it's done, it will be chromeless, debadged, windows tinted, the wheels will be powder coated black, colormatched and sitting a little higher

Here is the before pic's:

The day I got it:

Here is some of the work done so far. Step tubes are gone, airdam is gone, Z-71 logo's gone, SLT logo's gone, sierra tailgate lettering gone and some of the door trim is pulled.

Soon to be black.

2006 GMC 1500 Z-71, RC Leveling kit, 285's, Line-x'd bumpers.

Re: Working on a few things...
Thanks

I didn't get much done today, I spent about an hour and a half on the double sided tape crap that was left on the truck from pulling off the chrome trim (Drivers side). That chit sucks

I'll be calling up some paint shops around town to get some quotes for the bumpers and grille... I found some bumpers on partstrain.com for $170 bucks each that are already black. I'm just not sure if they are primer black, flat black or my stock color black.. either way, that might be the ticket.

Thanks man!

I was quoted at $30 per wheel, so $120 for all four.

I droped off the bumpers and grille at the line-x place today, and I should have them back by friday morning. I decided to line-x the whole bumper fron/rear, plastic's and all. Hope they turn out good...

Re: Working on a few things...
Can you send me the trim that you pulled off? I'd be willing to trade you for photos on them on my truck.

You get what you pay for......nothing is free.

Its in pretty bad shape, they bend like metal for some wierd reason (they seem like plastic?). They are no longer stright from pulling on them (drivers side), however I will be removing the passenger side tonight and I can use fishing line to remove them while trying to keep them stright. I'd say, you would be better off ordering new, if you want them anyway, let me know.
