I hear ya...parts come in when the money does. I was lucky enough to score a set of 8" front springs for 80 bucks + shipping.

Re: The Blazer is coming Back!
wow, thats a beast. I actually thinking about buying a 2" shackle kit for the front. With the 8" springs+ zero rate I should have 11"s. Im going to flip my stock shackle in the rear to get another 4 out back.
Then later on get some bigger springs out back. So that way I could be at 11 up front and 12 out back. Then later on I can always add a bl and cutouts to have 14-15"s D60 44s or so, who knows

Re: The Blazer is coming Back!
Working on saving up for some rear springs. Im talking to a guy about a set of 6" springs for 100 bucks. Then I would either flip my stock shackle or buy a flip kit, which would end up being 200 bucks. Or I could get a set of 10" springs. It wouldnt flex as much, but im not going to be rock crawling with it. So thats what im contemplating while im putting some money aside.

Re: The Blazer is coming Back!
What size are them boggers? Did you have to lengthen your driveshafts? About to trade a guy with 8" lift for my 12" and get a new 3" body lift and run some 38.5-39.5 boggers or maybe some 44's if I get a good deal and trim up a bit.

Re: The Blazer is coming Back!
Mine are 38.5s, why would you trade a 12"er for an 8"er with a bl?

Can't afford cross-over, driveshafts and still have to replace to body lift.
Plus the 8" lift comes with steering, so I can bolt it right up and then just get my gears in my rear axle and probley just going to put new pads and brake cylinders in my drums and clean them up and un-freeze them and then just get tires/wheels and she's done and on the road.

Re: The Blazer is coming Back!
I had to replace everything for brakes in my rear axle. Cylinders, shoes, springs, everything.
If I was you I'd stay away from 44s. Some 39.5x18 boggers on 12 wide wheels would be ****.

Re: The Blazer is coming Back!
How much did that come out to?
Ya im thinking the same thing! Tring to find some deals on chuckstrucks.net

So hopefully by this weekend, get that 8" lift my front axle will be under my truck and ready to go and just need tires/wheels up front and then just gears and rebuild the drums and throw the rear under and then just tires/wheels and she's basically done, oh and put my 2x4 conversion in.
