2008 full convertable blazer
i posted this in the introduction part but thought you guys might like this. its a 2000 gmc chassis cab 2wd with a flatbed. so i chopped the frame down about 5 ft and cut off the roof and behind the cab. removed the doors and front clip. and ordered up some glassworks unlimited frnt and rear fenders for a 07-08 in a 3" bulge and 3" rise. so what im building is a 08 full convertable blazer. im pulling out the votech 350 and putting in a propane only 468bb and keeping the 4l80e it came with and adding a 205 transfercase. i will do a full floor and innerwalls with body mounts on the new rear blazer section. i got rid of the dually rear axle and ifs front and i now have a dana 70hd in back and a dana 60 in front. wheelbase is set to blazer legnth. im going to do a full cage and glass in the area from the rear bedside to that meets the front fender and notch in a opening. no opening doors. and do a full cage and have a soft top made. it has 42 inch iroks for play and i will get some 41 iroks radials for the street later.
heres some pics, i have a ton more to do. but i think i have a good start. the first pic is where i had to cut the frame down 4ft 10in and move the springs the rear axle forward just to get it in the garage.

as you can see i still have to line up the new glass panels a little on the bottom. i need a grill, headlights, hood and front bumper to really keep going.
