Questions?? Need help!

I have a 1985 Chevy 4x4 short box that is in good shape except the bottom of the box. So far, it has been quite hard to find a short box that is in good shape which is in Michigan. I know about some of the companies that sell the boxes from down south but they are quite expensive and not too close to where I live. Would it be better to look for a whole truck that is in good shape and then sell the parts that I don't need, or buy the bottom part of the box? Where would be the best place to buy this whole bottom part? Thanks.

ive got the same problem out here ive got an 86 4x4 and ive looked at some of those company's and their were to much for a bed i mean ud be better off tryn to find something from the midwest or west coast like Nevada with the sand and no real salt like we got along the coast the boxes are sometimes pretty much almost new
