haha thats stayin there until i can figure out how to get the hood to close all the way..if i push down on it it sits perfect, but right now its up a little bit..gonna have to work on that..plus the paint is a little beat up behind it..ill have him fix that when i get the bumper color matched and the moldings taken off

are you being serious or sarcastic? lol..i dont even know what it sounds like from the outside yet..I can hardly hear it inside the truck..did notice a gain though..better throttle response and it actually will spin the tires when im givin it gas around a corner haha

Serious, it does sound louder than I thought it would. As long as there's no drone - I have a flowmaster 40 dumped on my 96's v6 and it sounds like craaaaaaaap to me now, even after sound deadening the interior.

ya it definatly doesnt drone at all..Once I hit like 3k I can hear the motor more then the exhaust..but when i was goin through a tunnel the other day it sounded loud as **** so idk..ill try to get a video of it driving outside

yeah I need louder exhaust for my truck. My air intake is louder than every damn thing on my truck LOL. I wish I could freakin view photobucket vids on an iPhone...

wanna trade then? you would be surprised what I picked this truck up for. Let's just say that my payments went down 50 bucks from my last truck, which was a 00 Z71. Oh and I sold that truck for $9000 and it had 160k on it lol

i really want to see what it sounds like outside of the truck..Like i said when im inside i can kind hear it up to like 2-3k then i can just hear motor..but when i went through a tunnel it sounded badass..just cuz its so far back and coming out the side..and im used to the true duals with bullets on the truck lol

Heres a little clip of it outside..the GF didnt get on it like i told her to though..o well..i love these HIDS as well..as you can see in the grass they have a nice cut off..street signs dont even light up so glare is very minimal

just an update i suppose..havent really done much else..was going to debadge it today, but i think I will wait until spring to do it..

Ive really been considering selling the truck and just keeping the tahoe..I will wait until spring, finish the truck (tub the bed, shocks, clean it all up etc..i figure i can get more money for it if its completely finished and clean)..if i sell it then I will put some money away and then put a little into the tahoe..probably some 24's with the drop for summer, 2 18's, shave roof rack or escalade rack..

Tentative plans are-

3/5 drop..just enough to make a difference, but not make 4x4 worthless..want to lift it still so that might happen down the road
possible CAI
rebuild my sub box and carpet it
Billet grille
HIDS in fogs

Thats it really..i figure i should try to save a little money and since im goin to Mexico over christmas it would be nice to have some extra..

Im not taking the running boards off at this point because you see alot of frame with them off..
