tatoodkelt i dont think thats a rudder im pretty sure its one of thos too close to the crub/parking stop early warning thingys
I don't think of my truck as being OLD ...I think of it as having been more places than a NEW one

Nah, I always do things backwards. Kinda like mocking up my bumper with cardboard first

You never said if you can/have a welder or any metal working tools.You will need plasma or torch & welder,work surface...skill.Youve got the right idea w/the mocking up,,but thats the easy part.

I do not have a plasma cutter, planned on taking mocked cardboard and having the metal cut to size. I do however have a welder and work surface at the shop.

Cardboard is alot cheaper than steel.

That'll be nice to have all the pieces cut out for you.Sounds like you have a plan,,,keep it simple and enjoy the art form.
