Re: My Propane Powered SAS Resto Project
I just looked through all the pages. Amazing! I mean how does the miles per galln of propane differ from? Is it costly to have a propane truck?

Re: My Propane Powered SAS Resto Project
My design consultant (VF) thinks I should line-x the body and forget painting it...
that is where i am at right now, i need to decide on a coating for the truck, then get it back and begin re-connecting everything

I second that. That Line-X stuff is pretty intense. If I had the money, I'd get the inside of my box done as well as the underside. Plus the underside of my cab, if I had the time and money to pull it off.
You don't need cats on that exhaust? Lucky bugger. I've gotta have a cat shell minimum (hey, I didn't know that the cat liner blew itself out the exhaust!?), but mufflers are optional. Damn pollution laws, restricting my exhaust flow.

Re: My Propane Powered SAS Resto Project
I'd Line-X the Rocker panels, up to the trim line crease dealio...
And then a nice glossy black after that.

Re: My Propane Powered SAS Resto Project
well, since this is taking too damn long... as of right now i am not going to line-x it.
I am going to get the body 100% covered in paint while everything is off the frame to get every nook and cranny covered to protect the sheet metal. Then when its all sprayed start putting the puzzle together. I am sick of seeing a huge pile of parts and nothing happening.
