After I get the sub in there, and both amps, the next project is gonna be to deaden the cab. But I want everything for the system first.

Re: Kirk's truck
deadening is the best thing I've done to my truck so far. You should see it when I crank it a little and the back window starts to flexs about an inch.

my buddies windshield did that, and now there's a hole that looks like he was shot at, but it's not all the way through

Re: Kirk's truck
Ok, so I've been meaning to post these pics all day, but I've been gone. So, here's what audio stuff I've done so far:
And what it looks like right now:
Torn apart for painting And drying out everything. And cleaning up that clusterfvck of wiring you see hanging down on the passenger side.

Re: Kirk's truck
I like it! I'm doing blue in my truck because it matches my 02 gauge, and a tranny switch I have, and the back light on my phone

Re: Kirk's truck
Well, Im hoping they'll be fine there. Only problem is that's about the only flat surface on my door panels with enough room behind it to mount something. The only other good surface is around my window crank, so I'd hit it with my hand every time I opened or closed teh window.
Right now though, my only worry is dropping off in a water hole wheeling and screwing up everything

I like it, it's been in my truck since I bought it about 2 years ago.
I'm not sure how much it cost though, it was a gift from my parents since my truck didn't have a HU when I bought it.

No wet rag, I finally got all the water out of teh interior
It'll get a good cleaning before the nice freshly painted black interior pieces go in Well, they don't really look nice now though, it was too cold when I sprayed them I guess, they didn't turn out right.

Re: Kirk's truck
Got all the pieces I had out painted today, sprayed everything with black. Maybe I'll have a chance to do the door panels by this weekend, but the dash is gonna have to wait until next weekend, if I even paint it. I may just strip off the factory paint (that's already peeling) and leave it plain black plastic. I dunno. I'll try to get some pics in a little while. Paint is drying now.
