And you are going to hate those pizza cutter tires you have with that lift. It will still look rediculous. Skinnies no good.
You wasted so much money on those tires.

Sure, I wish the tires were wider, but I do like them. They grip good offroad, and they do pretty good on road too.
However, when I wear these out, I'm getting some wide Boggers and black DC-1's.

I know they kick ass offroad but if this truck is a DD I'd defiantly consider getting different tires sense the boggers wear out so quickly on the pavement. Or, if you have the money get the boggers and set of something like BFG A/T's and use the A/T's for DD driving and swap the boggers on for offroading.

Re: Kirk's truck
so whats the point of installing a lift kit when you already know that you're going to cut all the crap out of it and put good stuff in it? sounds to me like you just wasted $1076.

I need a little more clearance over the 40's for now, and it'll be a while until I can get started on the SAS. Plus, my angles will be better with the lift, so maybe my IFS will last a little longer.

Re: Kirk's truck
Just an update. I didn't get anything done yesterday because I had to work later than I expected to. So, I had some places to go this morning, and got a late start. Now I've gotta go to AAP to get a balljoint tool, since my balljoints are stuck.
Here's a few more pics:
I'll get back to work on it in a little while.

Re: Kirk's truck
Gotta go get a pickle fork tomorrow after work, and I'll be working on it every night after work as much as I can. Hopefully I won't have any more problems that cost me very much time. And, I've got the good camera for the whole week, so I'll have good quality pics (like the last 4 I posted).

I wish you would have taken a good pic with someone next to the truck, I know the pics are doing just for the actual size of that thing
