Re: Grant's build thread

I saw cracks after the medium 3rd coat of Promoter dried. So i just said screw it and sprayed on the paint. I'm hoping i can sand them out or fill them in.

Oh and the clear i have is just in a regular spray can like paint is. Acrylic enamel.

This is after the 2nd coat of tint i think. I should of never sprayed on the paint after the promoter cracked.im ****ed

Mine looked pretty similar, Brandon. I put 4 coats of clear on them, and they sanded out.

I did not sell the truck.

Re: Grant's build thread

Well, I swung by Home Depot on the way home and picked up 25 feet of 10/3 Romex and a 220v male dryer plug. I meant to get the female end but somehow forgot it. Anyway, this will be my welder power cord.

I should be ordering my welder and a couple of other tools within the next couple of weeks. Sorry, that's all I've got for now.

10/3 is good for 30 amps, and my breaker is 30 amps. No sense in wasting money. Plus, what you see in that picture was $41.17.

Re: Grant's build thread

The guy at home depot couldn't find the price tag for the 6/3 so he scanned the closest tag on the shelf which was 10/3. Got 40' for like $60.

That's probably about $100 of wire. Lucky.

The SP-180T is only rated at 20A, and my circuit is 30A, so it'll work just dandy.
