Re: Grant's build thread

Looks good. Wheels look better on there than mine. I think if you lightly smoked those stock corners they would look better. Just my .02
And how about you come try them on so you wont have to photoshop anything!
Looks good though!

I do think yours would look pretty good on his truck I would say. He should come test em out and get the real effect of what they'd be like.

Wait what? I thought the ones in your sig were the ones he wanted I am lost. Both I think would look good on his truck. The ones he chopped on, and the ones in your sig... I thought you had those already in your sig though?

Nope, only wish.ha Thats why I need to sell the others. The ones in his chop are my current wheels. They are 20"s though, just not the ones I really want. They Coys in my sig go great with my theme and I dont want a fully polished wheel. Thats why I said they look better on his truck than my blacked out one.

Yep, it'll be for sale when the LSx goes in.

Yea, I'm really liking those wheels. They look a little flat in the chop, and I think they'd look much better in reality. I'm hurrying Drew! No eating out for me for a while!

No prob man. Yeah but I do like how they are staggered and have a decent lip on them. You can dish them more in Photoshop. I'll play around with it a little tonight for ya. haha
And are you running a 3-4" drop? It will sit your truck up pretty high until you drop it more. If I could get some steel I could make up a flip kit for you by looking at mine. Then when you come to buy them we could just go ahead and drop it. Hahaha

Haha, awesome. I think the fronts look about right, but the rears definitely look flatter than your original pic.

Yeah, here is a good pic of the rears to see the lip.

Re: Grant's build thread

Thanks man! Here's my attempt at "lipping" the rears a little more. I also lowered it a tad more. I think it's pretty close to a 5/7 in this pic.

EDIT: I'm already in love with these wheels.

Re: Grant's build thread

I dont like the stock corners on there, possibly take the clear ones and throw some red on there then tint them a little? Try to match the corners to the tails?

I don't think I'd get away with red corners. I kinda like the stock ones myself. I'm sure the plans will change by the time I actually get the cash to do all of this anyway. Another reason I don't like the clear ones is because all the ones I've seen are totally chit quality. There will be quite a few other changes to the truck that I don't have in that pic, some that will probably help the new changes fit in better. Stay tuned.

Re: Grant's build thread

I didnt mean red smart boy, I meant purple like your truck. But the more I look at it the more I dont know about that either, so I retracting my statement till further thought. You better get them wheels and drop, cause that stance = sex.

I've seen colormatched corners before, but I don't quite think they would fit in with my plans. We'll see.
