Sure... I bought them off Jacqson on here.
http://www.fullsizechevy.com/forums/...d.php?t=254772
I can send the adapters, but the shipping from washington to north carolina for the cvs would be outrageous for something one can run and get a local salvage yard for $75-$100 each.

Thats how much I've got in them.

Quick question... do you have a lift that requires cv spacers? That is the only way these will work. The adapters are only 1" thick and the 3/4 ton cvs are about 3/4" longer than the 1/2 ton.

Re: 2 SASes 1 garage... Summer 2009
I bought a detroit locker for the 14 bolt tonight...
I was going to buy the gears and rebuild kit, but I hit my limit on paypal, so it has to wait to verify my bank account. I wanted to get all of these going so I could put them in next weekend... grrr

Re: 2 SASes 1 garage... Summer 2009
Nice build. Keep up the good work.
BUT... the line in all of your pictures is driving me up a wall
Also, if you need any help with the driveline brake, let me know.

Re: 2 SASes 1 garage... Summer 2009
I don't know why it does that. Cell phone pictures. The lense is fine and the phone does not show the line, but when I upload it, the line shows up... Drives me nuts too.
The driveline brake is still up in the air. I will probably use a temp line-lock until I get to it. Thanks for the help.
Also, after doing some research and talking to Jason Katterhenry of Kat Kustoms, I either will need to clock my NP241 or rotate my inner Cs if I don't want to blow through front drive shafts, even with the double cvs. Anyone know what it take to clock a NP241. I don't think it is as easy rotating the adapter and add fluid. Little help, please?

Re: 2 SASes 1 garage... Summer 2009
I checked into it quite a bit. You can get a clocking ring. Most places make them for rock crawlers to clock it up for more ground clearance, but you can get them to go down if you look carefully. I've heard that the 4wd tranny output shaft (on a 700r4) is a bit short and that I need a 2wd output. Others have told me its long enought to fit the clocking ring. I think the 4wd one would be fine. Most rings I've seen are 3/8" thick.
In my case, I don't think the ring would clock it enough to make mine work. I'm probably gonna do what I've seen done on one other truck. I will rotate my t-case enough to bolt it in one hole off if that makes sense. 5 of the six holes line up. The last hose is about 1/4" off and I can drill it to line up and use a nut and bolt. It would put my t-case nearly vertical. I would need to extend my linkage a bit and run it nearly full of oil to keep everything lubricated. I will also need to build a new crossmember, but you will probably have to do that with a clocking ring too to make room for the drive shaft.

Ya, exactly. Where did you find that pic? I'm not sure what he's got going on with that yoke at the transfer case. Looks like it sticks out alot.

Re: 2 SASes 1 garage... Summer 2009
I actually found them on ORD (offroaddirect's gallery). I'm not sure what transfer case he is running to explain the front output. Looks like a NP241, but the older ones had the flange for the output and the newer ones have a short yoke. It does not have a slip/sliding driveshaft, so must be a slip yoke on the transfer case?

You nailed that one on the head. Moved it 1 hole, puts the front output almost vertical, and 5 of the 6 holes line up. Too Bad it is the one on the bottom.
(The mounting flange (sitting vertical on the right side) will be horizontal when mounted in the truck to get an idea.)

Re: 2 SASes 1 garage... Summer 2009
After talking with Jason from Kat Kustoms again... clocking the transfer case and adding the extra horizontal angle to drive shaft does not net you any gain on the strain on the driveshft, if not makes it worse since it's in 2 directions instead of 1. This will require a little bit of experimenting.
1. Installing everything normally (transfer case in correct location, c's not turned)
2. Clocking transfer case
I will see if I can live with the lesser of the 2 evils... but may end up and have to rotate the C's.
Trying to avoid it... or maybe drop the lift a little

Re: 2 SASes 1 garage... Summer 2009
Finally got the paypal fixed, so the 5.38s and master install kit should be on its way tomorrow. Hopefully I will have it by the weekend... Detroit will be here on friday. Will be a pretty down weekend if I don't get the gears and bearings...
Also, I am going to have KatKustoms fab up all of my crossover steering.
