Unless you've got something special we've never seen, that' F'er is scrapped. That's what I think.

Re: Pure Devastation: tell me what you think :(

Glad to see that you're up and able to take pictures of the truck afterwards. looks like it could have been pretty bad.

Hopefully, your truck will be up and running once again. Good luck with the reworking of it.

Re: Pure Devastation: tell me what you think :(

Got a fair amount done today after work..

Removed the hood, doors, fenders and inner fenders, grill, bumper
Disconnected lines, wiring harness and wiper arms

I didn't need to remove as much as i did but theres a good chance there will be an engine swap happening here.. thats a 4.3 you see in there now.

Tomorrow I will probably remove the mangled windsheild (the cowl is holding it in and the screws are all stripped and full of glass), disconnect steering column, shift linkage and start tearing apart the dash

here are some pics, not much of a truck anymore.

dont know how this happened..

new shoes!

You know that you can just replace the top part of the cab right?? You don't need to replace the entire cab, unless that's what you want to do.

Re: Pure Devastation: tell me what you think :(

And in the end it would prolly be alot better (strength wise) with a new cab.

That thing is scrap metal. Save your time and money. No offense, but that truck has nothing special about it to make it worth saving.

Easier, yes. but cheaper.. i dont have any money into this project yet and i dont plan to spend much, my buddy has given me his old truck for parts.. it has a solid cab.

Offense taken. lol, i haven't had this truck long, but i love it.. and i do have plans for it. You gotta start somewhere and i really don't think ill find a truck like this where I live.
