Got them from LMC Truck;
http://www.lmctruck.com/
They are not quite as nice as the factory ones, but they doo look MUCH better and will work fine for us.
They do not use 'metal' clips - they have a plastic molded clip that catches a lip on the inner door area.
I'll get some pics this weekend when we replace the other 3 doors and post up.

Re: '92 K2500 Suburban Refurb...
Got around to installing other 3 outer window wiper seals -
Removing the rears was an experiment - I finally just bent them up and basically ripped them loose...not the easiest thing to do..
Here's a pic of the first one I removed - you can see the metal clips;
Here's the new one beside the old one - note the new one just has a molded plastic area that 'catches' to hold it to the door;
After;
Of course by the fourth one, I finally figured out how to remove them much easier - using a strong scraper from Lowe's, push it up under the outer lip and once it bottoms out, pop it once good and the wiper will easily snap out;
Getting the front to slide in behind the mirror was a PITA - but with care, and some spray lube, it finally went in place.
Here's a pic of the drivers door after romving all the glue and getting the new vent visor installed;
Front door put back together, hopefully for a long time;
Rear drivers side after the new outer wiper;
And lastely, but not least, I finally got a set of late model Chevy aluminum wheels, will get them put on next week;
Here's a closeup of the Goodyear Duratrac tread that I purchased;
We've just about got the interior put back together.
I noticed a couple of antifreeze puddles this morning, so I went ahead and bought a new radiator to install tomorrow. The PO had epoxyed the filler neck and I guess it worked for a while..

Yep - single 3" inlet, dual 2.5" outlets, it's the 22" long one - we're going to 'modify' the cat, so I wanted a free-flowing muffler, but not obnoxious.. we'll run dual 2.5"s out to the rear, where I ordered a couple of stainless angle-cut rolled lip 3.5" tips. Plan is to run them straight out the rear on each side of the hitch frame. Pics to follow...

Yeah - I know, but I didn't want to remove the door panel on that door at this time... so I figured out how to get it in behind the mirror with a little finesse....so it 'can' be done.
Thanks for the compliment - it's come a LONG way since we drove it home...

Hmmm... thanks for the input - if it ends up being too loud, then I'll get a new cat and install it to help quieten it down some... we'll just have to see.
BTW - love the look of your Tahoe.

Thanks , BTW having the cat out is a noticable power difference, if anything you can put another muffler in place of the cat so you keep your flow but quiet it down mor

Re: '92 K2500 Suburban Refurb... Wheel ISSUE!
Well *&*(&(*^@!!!
I took the late model Aluminum wheels and tire to my tire shop and they won't fit over the OBS hubs!
So now, I've got to get them machined! Anyone else run into this? Is the tire shop crazy??
The wheels are from a ~2004 2500HD and I'm trying to put them on our '92 K2500 Suburban... I'm REALLY suprised the hub diameter got smaller in later years...
Is there a website that details the hub diameters?

I did find an OEM on ebay for $129, but the phot quality was terrible, so I couldn't tell how the chrome plating was - AND the vendor couldn't get me any better pics

Re: '92 K2500 Suburban Refurb...
well, depends on if you want a smoothie or what. I have one with one or two dents, but it's sandblasted and primered, cause I was going to smooth it myself
so, if you wanted to get smoothies colormatched or something, and have a shop that could do the bodywork, pm me, I can finish all the weldin
