Re: Project 67 Suburban - DRGNWGN

dude that would be great if you put a door handle on the other side just to screw with people lol maybe air brush a line that looks like a door line on it and see how many people try and open it. Maybe make it like a joy buzzer when they push the button lol or better yet have you ever seen the comedian jeff dunham who does all the puppets like walter or achmed the dead terrorist or peanut? make it so when someone trys to open the fake door handle you hear walters voice with him laughing saying something like you dumbass and him laughing again.

Re: Project 67 Suburban - DRGNWGN

lol I was looking at trucks too when I heard about a 3/4 ton 72 burb. I'd rather a 67-68 1/2 ton but I'll settle. I'm just thinking road trip machine.

Re: Project 67 Suburban - DRGNWGN

haha! i know i know, its hard not to look though lol. the blue one is my fav, and that orange and white lives about an hour away from me but ive never seen it in person. once you get these bagged with dropmembers, the body drop is only about an inch. lot of work for an inch but it does look good!

Re: Project 67 Suburban - DRGNWGN

update, I did get some work done yesterday. I pulled the front passenger side suspension apart, drilled the holes for the upper bag plate, drilled the hole for the airline to run through. mounted up the bag with the lower cup on and put everything back together. and I can't wait til I get the drop spindles and get recessed cups for the lca. it looks like a 5 inch drop so..def. need to get it lower than that. I still have to do the driver side so that's when im gonna snap some pics..so maybe tomorrow I can get some pics up for u guys.

Re: Project 67 Suburban - DRGNWGN

My first truck was a '64 burban, but a GMC. 2 door, turquoise and white. I loved that thing! Had a 305 V6 with a 2 speed powerglide in it. That thing was a beast, we called her the disturbin suburban.

Re: Project 67 Suburban - DRGNWGN

nice. i bought 1 set off of craigslist and they didnt fit and i gave up lol

heres the pics i promised..

aired up

aired out

front view up

front view down

i know the pics suck, im taking them with my phone until i get my camera back from a friend. once i get my drop spindles, im pulling off the bags and redoing it with welded in recessed cups in the lca. that should get me close to 5" more of a drop so i cant wait for that. until the mean time, i might as well start on bagging the back. i still dont have my notch or drop blocks...but im anxious to start so o well. ill put up some better pics when i get my camera.
