Re: Operation: Halfatruck (side project)
no pics yet, but the pieces are falling in place.
-scored a bed for the project for $600. i cant believe how much people want for decent a decent 8' bed ($1200-$2k!!).
-traded a Glock for a amazingly good condition D60 D-drop HP out of and old ford. its got some wacky brackets on it, but ive got a new tool for that...
-on that note...if you dont have one of these, find a reason to buy one.
http://www.milwaukeetool.com/Product...%3a++Band+Saws
it took me an hour of sawzalling to get off one spring pad on my 14ff, and it took 45 seconds of portable bandsawing to do the other. best tool EVER.

Nice. I am lookin to do something different trailor wise. I don't NEED one, but what I want to do it find a front end wrecked truck like mine, and cut the whole back part from cab back, and lift it like mine, same wheels and tires and all for a trailor. I got the idea from seeing a bagged truck that had a bed identical to the one on his truck and it was bagged too. I think it'd be kinda cool.
