yeah, the djm/stylin seems the only to offer:
4/6 front: LCA and springs rear: flip kit (pro drop) $459
4/6 front: spindles and springs rear: flip kit (quick drop) $419
eBay:

@ $394
i know ill need shocks and the actives have been really pushed
by a scraper around here. ride and control is better.
now this c-notch is necessary or optional? seeing they dont
"mention" this in most idf not all ads id think i dont need this. there isnt
much room on my axle housing to frame now.
ive got this $$$ in my pocket wanting out and i dont wanna spend
it twice. thanks for your contributions, keep 'em comming

Re: My advice on lowering your truck static.
Airdeano, anything lower than 4" in the back will require a notch for daily driving IMO. I drove with a bolt in cnotch with an 8" drop and the axle hit the frame all the time and believe me, its not enjoyable. If I were you, I would get the spindles in front with coils, and a flip kit in the rear, nitro active shocks, and be done with it. I have lower control arms from djm now on my truck and they rubbed my 20x8.5" wheels and now rub my stock 15x7" 454ss wheels, but might have something to do with a 3" coil. Still, IMO the spindle is the best way. It doesnt affect your suspension geometry at all.

Yes it's necessary and yes it comes w/ the kit. I know they don't advertise it, but anytime you see the words "flip kit" that automatically includes the C-notch, saddles, U-bolts and all hardware.
Also, I ordered the DJM kit from Stylin' for my '96 good price and service. BTW, I would also ge the one w/o the shocks and get a set of Doestech shocks. I got the DJM (ProComp) shocks w/ the kit and they were horrible and 2 blew out within 4 months.

How good are the "NITRO DROP" shocks from belltech....
verses the others?

Re: My advice on lowering your truck static.
zano told me that i prolly coulnd't go lower than a 3/4 drop, but what if i did a leaf spring setup(hotchkis 4") and the belltech shackle(1") and in the front use a 3" coil? making it a 3/5 would that work with a 275/45/20 tire?

Whats the width and backspacing on your wheels, and what year truck? A 3/4 on my obs gave it a nice rake, but a 3/5 would have leveled it out.

Re: My advice on lowering your truck static.
Is a pair of 2" spindles and a set of 4" Hotchkiss leaf springs the best bet for a slightly lowered, but still able to haul truck??? That would cost roughly $500 and should give a level look, I think...
Is this a decent alternative for someone who just wants to slightly lower and level their daily driver/work truck?

Re: My advice on lowering your truck static.
thats a nice combo. It will "level" the stance of your truck and you will have plenty of drivability as well.

Re: My advice on lowering your truck static.
can i flip my rear without the kit? Any tips on dfoing this?
I dont want everything the kit comes with and i already have the ubolts and stuff...
So i would rather do a "homemade" flip instead.. and tips on keeping pinion angle
right?
Thanks,
Nick.

You could do it, but for simplicity's sake it would be much easier to get the kit, plus it comes with instructions.
