I personally like the look when the front is higher then the back, it gives it that bagged look, for us people who cannot afford bags.

For all who are interested. Summit seems to have the best pricing on drop coils and shocks. Belltech was the brand I am getting but should be the same for other brands. Keep in mind that you dont pay shipping only a handling charge of $8.95

Try calling aim industries if you get truckin they have tons of ad's in there. They should be able to sell you just what you need. Keep in mind i believe the u-bolts and plates are differnt for the flip. And for instructions you can prolly goto belltech or djms website and look it up.

....I hope you're kidding. You may not be aware of how bad AIM is from the lack of product quality, the lack of customer service, and on and on and on. If you want proof...do a search for AIM. They have an absolutely horid report with the BBB and huge lists of horror stories with their parts breaking, not fitting, on and on and on and on.

AIM = ripoff = the worst possible place to ever do business with.

i'm chillin in CT. the roads just plain suck but i went total ghetto. 3" springs"3 spindles flip kit, bolt in c-notch and shakle hanger combo with low pro 15's on stock steeles (no dough for rims or bags YET) i get problems more from the cops than my truck. it rides surprisingly smooth for the drop. but it sucks not to have any adjustability

I take from the avatar yours is a classic bodystle (73-87ish) and you dont have any problems with the bolt on c notch because with my 96 I had a flip kit and hangers (8" drop) and the frame was on the axle constantly

Re: My advice on lowering your truck static.
i have a std short bed 92, with a djm 2" spendle and 3" springs and i love it rides good to, but out back i have 6" flip and 2" shackles and its stuff as hell, thinkin about puttin the stock shackels back on to see if it makes it any better, or lift it to the 1" drop on schackle, also thinkin about hellwige rear sway bar anyone doen this, did it make a diff, worth the money, i want better handling, i dont want the back to lag in fast turns. i have a built tpi in the truck and i want the truck to handle the power better in the turns.

I would reccommend a stock one ton front sway bar and the hellwig in the back. Then upgrade all your bushings to PST for the motor mounts, swaybar end links, body mounts, etc.

It can bolt in and can be found at a nearby junkyard, but if youre not feeling adventureous you can order the hellwig, that way you know its new and have tech support, etc.

Apparently they make a good enough difference, and I am putting one from an escalade on mine just because i got it cheap. Belltech and another company makes them, check www.streetperformance.com for applications.

Hotchkis is also another brand you may want to look into.
