Re: Advice on bagging a truck

Yes you can hit s2s on any 4 link.

I would check out the setups from suicidedoors.com and innovativeairsuspension.com

Copper lines are not the best to run because they can become brittle, they aren't made to be subjected to the elements. DOT line will be fine as long as it's not near anything too hot like your exhaust.

Re: Advice on bagging a truck

I'm new here but want to help out alittle. I've got a 92 Chev, I'm in the works of bagging. Here is all the hardwear, ART everything. 4link-airbar, with uca, lca, coolride kit and 2in drop spindels. And a RideproE 4way and a 5gal,tank, 450 compessor

From what I've seen on here, Make me think I'm going to need another 5gal tank and one more compessor. Because I don't want that compessor running all the time.
Any help on that would be cool.

I have not started on it yet, because I'm still painting it, "but soon". I would like to take pics of everything for everyone to see, Kind a step by step setup if ya know what I mean.

If anyone has some idea that I could show in a pics so people could get a good view of what where doing. Let me know. "Like grounding everything strait to the battery."
I heard the RideproE has some problems if it's not grounded right.
Hope to post pics soon of everything. Dropchop56

Re: Advice on bagging a truck

On the RideproE, for the ride height on start thing to work, your valves gotta be sooooo slow. It takes my dads truck 3 seconds to air up, and 4 seconds to air out. The system still acts funky. I'm running 8.5 gallons of air, on 175 psi. If you only run 145 psi, I recommend at least 10 gallons, and 2 or more compressors. I am running an engine driven, which fills the 8.5 gallons from 145-175 in under 30 seconds.

Re: Advice on bagging a truck

Thanks for the info. Hey on your step notche, how tall are they. The reason I'm asking is because I got a set of c-notches for ART and there not that tall. Is the reason your running bigger notches, to get lower. I want this truck to lay down all the way. Thanks DropChop56

Re: Advice on bagging a truck

If you're running the airbar, you wont lay frame unless you build new upper brackets, and a larger notch. My notch has 7.5" of travel, and lays the frame, and has about 3/4" to spare.

with upper backets? The bar that run acossed the frame rails or the upper fourlink bars.

Re: Advice on bagging a truck

you will need to somehow raise the upper bar to lay the frame.

Are there any alignment issues with the shockwave setup?

Re: Advice on bagging a truck

I plan on baggin my 91 stepside and and work at a machine shop and was hoping to build most of my system. I was just wandering what would be the best ride and lowest without cutting into my bed, and if cups, 2" drop spindles, and 2500# bags would be good for the front. Any comments would help.

You can build a super c-notch to fit under your bed, and come about 1.5" from layin frame on a 27" tall tire. Up front your setup sounds good, but run 2600lb bags. 2500's are for mini's.

Re: Advice on bagging a truck

I have a 2001 Sierra with 20's. I want to lay the frame, but I dont need it to be super fast. I am going to go with the KP 4 link with cantilever in the back, but my question is I have a Belltech 4/6 drop. Can I install bags with this, or will I need to remove it? My truck is about 2 inches from the ground now, so I dont think it will take much. The main reason I want to get bags is because I dont want to scrape everywhere with my new paint.

Thanks, Britt
