Air and nitrogen are great, 8 gal tanks are good, more ports the better, that way you can run a line to each corner in stead of "T"ing off. Viair comps are great, ive burned a few up, the thomas 4101($399 for FBI) is what i have now and i run it way past 200psi and i work the **** out of it and it 100% rebuildable.

Re: Advice on bagging a truck
the EDC spits alot of oil but hands down i would go with an EDC over my thomas 4101, i could have built EDC setip for how much the thomas was...

no question is a dumb question, you cant learn with out opening your mouth...

Re: Advice on bagging a truck
i heard that kp's 4 links are weak, is that true?
also does the cantilever come with those shocks pictured with it?

also i have a friend that has his ranger bagged with a tri link and suggested i get a tri link for my 98 gmc ext cab. i always thought full sizes needed a parallel link and the mini's used the tri link. am i wrong?

oh yea are suicidedoors's THICK parallel links compatible with kp's cantilever?

Re: Advice on bagging a truck
I guess if you want a bolt on kit than there ok...

On a full size run a 4link, place all your bars in side the framerail, you will have to relocate the gas tank to the bed if you do this, but you have to do that anyways if your going to drag becasue those tanks hang down and throw good sparks.

If you locate all your link bars in side your framerail your wheel size is endless, you can narrow the rearend and run wide ass wheels and tires with the correct offset.

Re: Advice on bagging a truck
How hard would it be to bag an 06 single cab on 22s? Currently stock suspension. Should I just get 20s instead? New to the bagging world.

Re: Advice on bagging a truck
I have read through much of this thread and thought i would ask a couple of questions that i didnt thik got answered or i didnt understand the answer.

i have a 99 nbs ecsb, I am planning on running 22" wheels all around and would like to lay frame. Can I use the kp components 6 link and lay frame with 22" wheels? How much of a notch would I need to acomplish this? Will the transmission crossmember and gastank crossmember need to be changed to lay frame?
Up front it seems there a million different ways to do the front suspension. With the goal being to lay frame and still be drivable, I am confused on the combination of control arms and spindles. If I use the cool ride kit what parts do I need to change to set the frame on the ground? Can this be accomplished with teh stock spindles and contorl arms? Also about the issue of the tierods hitting, is this problem solved when you change control arms? If this has been addressed before i apologize for having a thick skull

Re: Advice on bagging a truck
Ive had my truck done 3 times now. My biggest mistake was trying to save money the first time. Now that ive had it completly redone by a very reputable person i have no problems driving it on a regular basis. Im using a custom 4 link, with panhard, suicide doors monster notch in the rear, heavy duty air lift bags in the rear, all 1/2in line, slambags up front, belltech front spindles, dual compressors into a single 10 gallon air tank. Rides great, i still use it to tow, and it lays out.
1994 quad cab long bed dually, bagged and lays out. Custom painted, full audio, custom interior, chrome underhood. Must sell!
