OK guys now I'm worried Back in 96 I bought a 3/4 kit from AIM
1" Coils, 2" Spindles w/ Shackles and Hangers. I havent had any problems but I'm checking things out tomorrow. How can you tell if your coils are bad?
PS:They charged me $100.00 for shipping and handling! From AZ to CA!

Re: Chassis Tech / Aim products
I bought some 3 inch lift springs for 73-87 1/2 ton Chevys from them about 3 years back. I never got around to installing them before I sold the truck. Kind of glad. I do however, have two buddies with S10s that want to lift them using a rear axle flip kit. Where else carries a kit besides AIM? When I bought my springs I had no problems at all, and shipping was very fast, so I turned these guys onto AIM when I saw that they carried the flip kit, now I will definetly tell them to look elsewhere.

Anyone know where to find an axle flip kit for 94+ S10s?

Re: Chassis Tech / Aim products
Negative. It would be the lift axle flip kit. The stock setup on S10s 2x and 4x is axle over spring pack. AIM offers a bolt on kit to relocate the axle below the spring pack.

Re: Chassis Tech / Aim products
I know you guys get the choice in kits, but it sucks bein a dodge guy if you don't like stock height. After exhaustive emailling and calling manufactureres and vendors, the only company that can do anythign to my 3/4 ton dodge 2wd is shAIM/Chassis Tech who say they can do a 3/4 lower or lift kit for me

Drop kit
-lwer control arms-349.00
-rear flip kit 4"-279.00

Lift
-frt upper lifted control arms and lifted coils-399.00
-lifted blox-39.00

guess i'll stay at stock height and not even consider that option

if only it weren't so dang expensive to do bags on it (about $5k-$7k)

Re: Chassis Tech / Aim products
My buddy got an email from AIM stating that Joe Morrow, the owner, was retiring and moving to Australia and the company was being sold. Supposedly his son is going to run it for the new owners. Problem is his son is only 19 years old. We'll see how that goes. LOL.

I've met Joe Morrow in person and he looks like the devil. <G> Plus he is one of those guys that gets in your personal space by standing like 12" from your face when he talks to you. Ugh..

Re: Chassis Tech / Aim products
i just found out a few days ago that my drop springs are from them (before the truck became mine)..hence my 2 1/2" difference from the right to the left

i'm just going to cut them to level out my truck with the back anyways...but i definetly won't buy from them

Had the same thing happen on my '90, the saddles both bent like hell, had a billet insert bumper with gouge marks all over and looked like the cut out was made with an oxy/ac torch, grille shell and insert never fit right and spring sagged badly (although I wanted it lower anyway hahaha). on my '99 (I know I should have learned)the sent my hangers and were two different styles wtf? They actually bolted up OK and were the same height but looked totally different. I realized it when both hangers had been removed and I was ready to install the new ones. Drop did fine until I upgraded to DJM 4/6. Wow, what a lesson, I'm never going back after seeing what a reall suspension company builds!!
